Bobbie has served as the Clinical Director for Patient Care Field Teams for Halifax Health - Hospice since 2007. She joined the organization in 2003, serving as the Clinical Educator. During that time, she provide education related to end-of-life and palliative care not only to the staff of Halifax Health - Hospice but also to other healthcare professionals and to the community.
Prior to her move to Florida, Bobbie spent 3 years working for St. Joseph Hospice in Augusta, Ga. Most of Bobbie's nursing career has been in serving the geriatric population through her work in hospice, home health, as director of nursing for 10 years with a geriatric affiliate of the Medical College of Georgia, and consulting for long-term care.
Bobbie is certified by Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, is co-founder and past president of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association's Daytona Chapter, the Florida FunCoast Chapter. Bobbie also co-chairs the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Education Committee and sits on the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Clinical Excellence Committee.
Bobbie obtained her associate degree in nursing from Augusta State University, a bachelor of science in nursing from Florida Hospital College for Health Sciences, and is currently obtaining a master of science in nursing leadership from Walden University. Bobbie also obtained a post graduate degree in theology/education from Southern Bible Seminary.
