Fran Davis is President and CEO of Halifax Health - Hospice. She has served in this position for five years and prior to that was the organization's director of clinical operations.

Prior to joining Halifax Health, Davis owned and operated a proprietary home care agency in New York, which specialized in high-tech home care dialysis and ventilator nursing placement services.

She is secretary and a member of the Executive Committee of the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association and has been a member of the Florida Lutheran Retirement Center Advisory Board for the past five years. In 2004, Davis was awarded the Family Champion Award by Channel 2 News and the Orlando Sentinel, which celebrates executives who recognize families in the workplace through programs and flexibility to enhance family life.

Davis is committed to end-of-life care and improving the quality of life for all area residents. Under her leadership, HOVF has opened two freestanding hospice inpatient care centers to compliment the 16-bed care center in Port Orange.

She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is currently working towards her Masters degree in Health Administration. She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care nurse and is a Certified Hospice Administrator.
