Halifax Health - Hospice ensures that end-of-life decisions are made by the patient and their families. As a culturally sensitive and diverse organization we understand that culture shapes choices for life support and care. We will strive to work with you to understand your cultural and religious end-of-life issues.

To appropriately answer such a call, Halifax Health - Hospice has developed a comprehensive program offering African decent and Spanish speaking communities' hospice education, care and materials appropriate to both their culture and language. In employees, community leaders and physicians to address the issues that people in the community are facing and how to eliminate much of the unneeded strain that caring for a loved one can bring.
